Charles R Cooke majored in Marketing and minored in English after his counselor said he had enough credits to minor in English (he took the classes because he loved them, not because he was trying to minor in his native language)

His concept for his novel series, UNDERGROUND, has lived inside him his entire life.  The characters are all based off people he’s met combined with fictitious story lines he thought were interesting.  He grew up secretly watching action and crime movies.  The first books he purchased were non-fiction mafia and crime books.  He was hooked.

Charles R Cooke understands crime in the real world is not glamorous, but that’s why he likes to explore it in his writing.  He believe it’s okay to dabble in the dark side of humans when you are truly a good person in society.  He understands his genre isn’t popular with everyone, but he hopes his audience enjoys his stories.
